About the event
As Alter Ego comes to a close, we invite you to gather for one final evening inside a world shaped by introspection, duality, and transformation.
Born from the sapphic short film Alter Ego and the universe of Lavender Noir, this exhibition has explored the layered identities we carry—both seen and unseen. Through painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, and installation, each artist has offered a glimpse into the complexities of selfhood, vulnerability, desire, and becoming.
Curated by SZNL Chicago & our team of directors, this closing reception is an opportunity to revisit the collection, connect with the artists, and reflect on the stories that have unfolded throughout the exhibition.
Join us in the heart of Pilsen for an intimate evening of art, conversation, and celebration as we honor the final chapter of Alter Ego.
